Leeds United will spend the international break top of the Championship table after picking up a third successive win against Millwall
The result sees Leeds move up to the top of the table on goal difference with Leicester City, who were not in League action this weekend, now second. Wilfried Gnonto and Daniel James scored the decisive goals for Leeds in the contest as the Whites are now thirteen unbeaten in the league for the first time since 2007.
Daniel Farke's team have a one-point advantage over Ipswich with eight league fixtures left to play. Leicester, who were in FA Cup quarter final action on Sunday, have a game in hand on Southampton who they will now face on April 23. Southampton are fourth with a nine-point gap to United with two games in hand, and will have the belief they can compete with Leeds to return to the top flight. Farke's men will now rest up during the international break before a trip to Watford on Friday, March 29.
