The Rangers midfielder is reportedly undergoing a medical at Leeds United at the end of a window where he has been consistently linked with a move to Elland Road
Leeds United will be getting a midfielder 'schooled' by Arsenal in Glen Kamara, if the Whites are able to seal a move for the Rangers man. The Whites are reportedly closing in on the Finland international after the two teams agreed terms, with the player himself said to be at Thorp Arch for a medical.
And Rangers legend Ally McCoist says his Gunners education comes through on the pitch, in glowing praise for the Leeds target. McCoist was asked about Kamara's contribution in 2021 when the midfielder signed a new contract at Ibrox, a deal which he felt was richly deserved. Rangers boss Beale admitted their was interest in Kamara, saying: “There’s been quite a few enquiries for Glen. We gave him an extended break due to his international stuff in the summer and unfortunately he’s been ill the last few days so he didn’t come to Germany with us. He’s due to return to training in the coming days and that’ll be ongoing, the speculation.”
