Stephen O'Donnell says it's amazing to see how assured Miller is at 18
Stephen O’Donnell is licking his lips every time Lennon Miller gets on the ball, and says the teenager reminds him of a young Billy Gilmour.
“Whenever Lennon gets the ball I’m licking my lips. He’s got awareness, quality. Turning 18, that’s quite frightening, how good he is. “That’s one of his biggest characteristics. No matter what happens, he’s wanting it. He’s showing a character that’s far beyond his age.” “Obviously it was good to get on the score-sheet against hearts, but I probably take as much pride in the first one.“Last year we spent a lot of time on set-pieces, we worked hard on them.
Motherwell move on to St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park on Saturday, and O’Donnell reckons there’s room for improvement.
