How 60 percent of Uvalde residents voted for Gov. Greg Abbott after the mass shooting there is incomprehensible.
Let me remind the winning candidates that you all had a plan to fix the border, stop inflation, lower crime and slow global warming. It’s time to show us your plan. I also want to tell the losing candidates: If you had told us what the plan was, you might have won. This is a new low for our society. When and where did we learn to stand on one another’s back to seem bigger? When did hatred become the norm? When did we begin to believe that doing wrong would cause a right result? Why do we accept this behavior?
Question: If a regular “citizen” was seen leaving an accident, smelled of alcohol and had a head laceration, would they not have been arrested or given a breathalyzer test?
