Letters to the Editor: Ohio State should do the right thing; Voting choice is 'human, not political'; Ryan is not all the way with Pelosi or Biden

Michael Oser, ColumbusI plan to vote for Tim Ryan, but it has nothing to do with whether II have women and gay family members. I depend on a Union-won pension. I and many friends depend on Social Security/Medicare as lifelines. I have very dear women friends for whom their health care is extremely important. I see that as their private concern as mine is to me. Also, I am not a wealthy man.

This is really simple to me. Tim Ryan stands up for the things that are important to me and to the people I love and care for. Vance, on the other hand is for cutting those important programs and has shown indifference and prejudice against people I care for and those that love me.Ryan is not all the way with Pelosi or BidenTim Ryan does not support Joe Biden and Nancy pelosi 100% of the time.

He is not a"yes man" to Biden like JD Vance is to Donald Trump. Ryan has even said Biden should not run for re-election. Tim Ryan supports the Democratic platform and votes for the Democratic policies which he believes serve his constituency. He is voting for the people he represents in Northeast Ohio.
