DART is a power-hungry monster that would never survive if it had to actually make a profit or justify costs per rider.I’m all for it student-loan forgiveness. Even though meat will never touch my lips, I understand hunting if it is for food. Do we eat elephants? I think not. There is also very little skill involved in hunting an elephant. They are huge! Heck, even I could not miss my mark, and I know nothing about guns. Toward the end of this front-page story, it was disclosed that Collin County’s insurance will pay the claims against the district attorney and the assistant district attorneys named in the suit. As a long-time resident of Collin County, I would like to understand why taxpayers are paying for the settlement.
