It is interesting to see that the Supreme Court ruled against eliminating college loan debt that students used to better themselves, yet Texas wants to give $8,000 per year for 12 years to parents of students who want to better themselves at private schools, if the schools will accept that particular student.In Saturday’s paper, the photograph of borrowers protesting for student debt relief was a real eye-opener.

If parents really want to help their kids, I respectfully suggest that instead of sheltering them, they openly discuss other ideas and prepare them for the real world in which we all live.
