Lewis Capaldi has made a surprise appearance on stage to show his love for his mates, the Vamps following his career break announcement.
Despite this hard decision, the star left fans shocked as he made a surprise appearance at Kew The Music on Wednesday night alongside his pop-star pals 'The Vamps'. The unexpected moment sent fans into a frenzy online as well as in person as one said: "As if Lewis Capaldi came on stage with the vamps tonight."
Lewis announced his decision to step back from performing after his headline set at Glastonbury, he took to his Instagram and Twitter pages to share an emotional statement with his fans. "I used to be able to enjoy every second of shows like this and I'd hoped 3 weeks away would sort me out. But the truth is I'm still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette's and on Saturday it became obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order, so can keep doing everything I love for a long time to come."
In his first interview since releasing his statement, Lewis joked that "life is meaningless" as he claimed record labels "know nothing" about music and even labelled his own hits as "f****** failures".
