Time to check those cupboards
UK shoppers are being urged to check their fridges and cupboards following a series of product recalls in recent days.
Snaktastic Chilli Heatwave Tortilla Chips Lidl GB is recalling Snaktastic Chilli Heatwave Tortilla Chips because they may contain milk which is not mentioned on the label. Because of a mis-pack, the pack may contain Tangy Cheese flavour Tortilla Chips. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
King prawns Waitrose is recalling Waitrose Extra Large King Prawns, because they contain raw, uncooked prawns. The FSA said the presence of raw, uncooked prawns makes this product unsafe to eat.The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. Any customers with queries or concerns can contact Waitrose Customer Services on 0800188884, option 4.
