Residents of a Nottinghamshire village have praised its 'close-knit' nature after it was named as one of the safest areas in the county. Tollerton was ranked joint-lowest in terms of instances of antisocial behaviour across 2021/22, according to police figures.
"It's a lovely area with lots of nice people, it's a real massive community," the 50-year-old told Nottinghamshire Live. "You see the kids out on the streets, it's nice to see them on their bikes. You see a lot going round but not in a threatening way - there's never any trouble."I think it's because of the community we're in, it's very close-knit.
