My other little one was at school and didn't know they had come and my husband Barry was on his way to work.Ruby Lafferty and her husband James, both 82, won £100,000 on the lottery. Ruby said: "I couldn't believe it."
Speaking about the postcode lottery, she added: "We have been in it for years and years, I've won £20 before and £10s. I couldn't believe it to tell you the truth." The former healthcare assistant also won £100,000 from the lottery and plans to get her teeth done in Turkey. She said: "The luck I have had is unbelievable and feel it's from my mum up there, it's the most luck I've had since she's gone, she's looking down on me.
Her daughter, Abbie Birtley, 28, added: "I didn't believe it. We knew it was some big money as she's only won £10 before."
