'Lifesaving' defibrillators have been installed at several train stations across Glasgow, ScotRail has announced.
ScotRail has said 87 de-fibs have now been installed at railway stations throughout the country after the train operator completed the latest roll-out of new machines.
However, ScotRail has said there are exceptions where it has been necessary to install them in ticket officers due to security issues. The rail firm says the completion of the roll-out of the equipment has 'greatly enhanced' their availability across the country's railway.Meanwhile, all of the devices are registered with the Scottish Ambulance Service and the ScotRail network map has been updated to show a green heart beside each station that currently has a defibrillator installed.
