Lila Moss turned to Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Arsenault – the duo behind London-based brand Knwls – to create a custom look for her to wear the. The result? A super-fine, semi-sheer silk-georgette dress with a train that ensured that Lila felt “effortless and dangerous” on the night.
Knwls has made its name supplying party pieces to the fashion pack, but this occasion marks the first bespoke evening look from the brand. “We always dabbled in evening wear, but never had the capacity or the time to fully flesh it out,” say the couple, who add that it was “great to find the right person and the right time to do it”. “Lila is such a sweet person and so confident, she embodies the Knwls girl perfectly.
According to Charlotte and Alexandre, Lila loved the dress from the moment she saw it. “When she [first] put it on, she transformed and felt empowered, which is all we ever wanted”. Lila found the process smooth, too. “[The fitting] was super easy, we barely even needed to fit the dress – it slipped on.”
