Linda Evangelista claims in a new documentary that she suffered physical abuse at the hands of her ex-husband, Gérald Marie.
“He knew not to touch my face, not to touch the money maker, ya know?” the 58-year-old runway star alleged in the third episode ofThe French former model agency boss — who has vehemently denied the supermodel’s claims — and Evangelista wed in 1987 when she was just 22 years old and he was 37. “I got out when I was 27, and he let me out as long as he got everything. “It wasn’t a matter of just saying, ‘I want a divorce, see ya.’ It doesn’t work that way,” she explained. “Gérald Marie firmly objects to the defamatory and false allegations made against him. He refuses to participate in this dishonest media controversy,” Marie’s lawyer Céline Bekerman told Page Six in a statement Wednesday., including Mickey Rourke’s ex-wife Carré Otis, during the ’80s and ’90s. He was accused of sexual assault by at least 15 women.The former Elite Model Management honcho was accused of raping multiple women during the ’80s and ’90s.
