The family of Line of Duty star Brian McCardie have shared their heartbreak as they announce the actor's cause of death, after he passed away suddenly at his home
The Line of Duty star Brian McCardie sadly passed away due to a major artery tear in his heart, his heartbroken family have commented. Known for playing Tommy Hunter in the police drama, as well as notable roles in Outlander, Brian has left a significant mark on the acting scene.
The heart-wrenching social media announcement read: "Hi all, the McCardie family would like to thank everyone for their overwhelming support regarding the sudden passing of Brian James McCardie, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. She continued: "We then move on at 1.30pm to Holytown Crematorium, Memorial Way, Holytown, Motherwell, where we will celebrate Brian's life before he takes his final bow. There will be links available to both the mass and the cremation service for those who cannot attend in person."
News of his tragic passing was shared by his wife Sarah on X, formerly known as Twitter last month. She wrote: "It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian James McCardie, beloved son, brother, uncle and dear friend to so many."
