Line of Duty actor Adrian Dunbar - who famously played the character of Ted Hastings - has hinted there could be a Line of Duty movie in the works.
When asked if fans could expect another series or a film, Adrian laughed: "I have to be very careful, y'know, don't want to burn up the internet if I say anything. But the point is we all want it to happen, so if it were to happen, we'd be really happy." Line of Duty began in 2012 and followed a special and controversial unit dedicated to rooting out corruption within the police. The finale in 2021, which brought in 12.8 million viewers, has left fans on tenterhooks ever since as it left many unanswered questions.
“There’s no immediate plans,” the 40 year old Scottish actor said. “But the guys are some of my best friends, I’m always on the phone with Vicky actually.
