EXCLUSIVE: LinkedIn and Pinterest backer Bessemer Venture Partners plans to establish base in Europe, tempted by big exits such as Adyen, Spotify, and TeamViewer

Industry sources told Business Insider that the venture capital firm, which has invested in Pinterest, Shopify, LinkedIn, and Box, plans to establish an office in London this year, to be led by one of its partners, Alex Ferrara, who is currently based in the US. Ferrara told Business Insider that Bessemer had "no specific plans to open in London.
Ferrara acknowledged there was a "mismatch" between the firm's investments in Europe and its lack of presence "on the ground."
