After six years in the fourth spot in the FIFA World Rankings, England's Lionesses have finally seen the fruits of their labour.While they did not top their group in the recent UEFA Nations League - which ultimately killed their hopes of competing at Paris 2024 - they did pick up some impressive results including a 6-0 win over Scotland.
England have never quite made it to the top of the FIFA Women's World Rankings, nor have they made it the second place spot since 2018.and Nations League champions Spain who retain their spot at the top of the rankings, having taken the top spot four months ago. But perhaps the biggest shock is for the US Women's National Team who - having never slipped below third in the FIFA rankings - have now fallen to fourth spot.
