Firefighters are currently at the scene of the fire on Catherine Street
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service were called to a premises in the Catherine Street area of the town following reports of a fire at an abandoned nightclub, involving three buildings.People are being advised to avoid the area with local residents being asked to keep their doors and windows closed.
Motorists are also being advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes, with diversions being put in place. A PSNI spokesperson said: "Road users are advised that Catherine Street in Limavady is currently closed due to an ongoing fire in the area, a number of diversions are in place.
