Two lanes have been shut off
Two lanes are currently shut on the anticlockwise carriageway from junction two for Stockport Road to junction one for Stockport Pyramid, according to traffic alert service Inrix. Congestion is currently back to junction five for Princess Road.
There is also slow traffic on the clockwise side of the motorway as onlookers slow down. Motorway cameras show long queues of traffic building at the scene.A tweet posted by MancTraffic said: "M60 ac/w j2-1 queues and 2 lanes closed. Congestion to j5."
