Police have closed Blackpool Road due to a serious road traffic collision
Motorists are being advised to avoid parts of Preston after a serious crash has closed one of the city's main roads.
"The road is closed due to a road traffic collision and we anticipate this will be closed for some time. We’ll provide an update once cleared and thank you in advance for your patience."Some motorists have posted on social media to report that the road has re-opened. LancsLive has asked Lancashire Police for confirmation.In an additional statement, police said: "We received a report of a collision between a Land Rover and an e-bike on Blackpool Road at around 2:20pm today.
