Highway 52 east of Fort Lupton between County Road 31 and County Road 35 is closed due to a serious traffic crash, according to the Fort Lupton Fire Department.

The closure stemmed from a jackknifed semi-truck and several trucks that should have been chained up, Lewis said. One lane remains blocked. 7:15 a.m. | Traffic | In Highlands Ranch, the heavy and wet snow is creating slushy conditions on the roads.
