Liverpool and Real Sociedad reportedly discussed the possibility of including Stefan Bajcetic in the Martin Zubimendi deal. The teenage midfielder is a player the club are seemingly prepared to send on loan this season after missing much of the last campaign through injury, and the move could have been back to Spain almost four years after arriving from Celta Vigo.
Bajcetic stands to benefit should the Spain under-21 international remain in Arne Slot 's squad this season, especially if an alternative to Zubimendi is not signed this month. One player that seemingly won't be is Bruno Guimaraes. Football Insider reports that Newcastle United remain unwilling to entertain any offers over the coming weeks after the Brazil international clarified his happiness at the club. Arsenal and Manchester City are also reputedly interested in the midfielder.
