Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian has expressed a desire to return to Spain as the clock ticks down on his Anfield career.
The 37-year-old, though, has made just two appearances in the last three seasons and hasn't featured in the top flight since February 2021.READ MORE: Arne Slot has clear transfer priority and two players becoming Liverpool undroppables “I would like to return to La Liga after 11 seasons in the Premier League," said Adrian, speaking to Mucho Deporte. "It would be the end of a cycle. I’m still ready to compete. I feel very good despite being 37.
“I think Adrian has a long time left and it’s true that I would like to return to La Liga. It has to be a nice, interesting project.”
