Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is reportedly looking to purchase Ligue 1 club FC Nantes in his latest investment in French sports.the 25-year-old is in talks with current Nantes owner Waldemar Kita, 71, over a €100million deal to take over the eight-time Ligue 1 champions.
Purchasing Nantes wouldn’t Alexander-Arnold’s first foray into the market, he is also a minority shareholder of the French Formula 1 team Alpine F1 through Otro Capital. Kita is said to be unpopular in Nantes following his failure to build a new stadium and the Ligue 1 TV rights debacle that saw Club presidents agree to a TV deal with DAZN and BeIN Sports which is aOn the pitch, things are going well for Alexander-Arnold and Liverpool, sitting in fourth place with three wins and one defeat.
