The chairwoman of Loaves and Fishes believes she fell victim to charity fraud this week when supermarket donations meant for the food bank were 'robbed from the hungry'.

Lesley told us: "We were recently the victim of someone collecting food on our behalf from one of our supermarket partners using a fraudulently produced email as permission. This is incredibly troubling as my concern is that they could they be conning other organisations too. "Stealing a trolley of food worth £150 is really bad but my big worry is if they're going other places asking for food or even money. How do you let people know that this isn't us?"
"Imagine having the gall to do that. Sainsbury's have been really decent, they're horrified by the whole thing. They don't want to feel like they've let the charity down so we fully support them.
