National park chiefs have shamed those who have ditched their cars on grass verges and single-track roads.
Bosses responsible for Loch Lomond and the surrounding area have advised tourists and day-trippers seeking scenic views during the current sunny weather to behave responsibly.
Scenic hotspots are expected to be packed with sun worshippers and picnickers looking to make the most of the weather. But the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs authority, which is responsible for the iconic waters, has warned those seeking a place to enjoy the sun to do so with care. The plea was illustrated with a photograph showing cars parked on grass verges and partially blocking a single-track road. The numberplates of the drivers responsible were blotted out to spare their blushes.
"Blocking access is not only frustrating for others, but could also mean emergency services may not be able to get through."
