Loki gets a new Funko POP with his costume from The Avengers and a glow-in-the-dark scepter!
The Marvel Cinematic Universe's Loki has received an exciting new Funko Pop iteration, showcasing his outfit from 2012's The Avengers and holding a glow-in-the-dark scepter. Tom Hiddleston's beloved God of mischief has established himself as a fan-favorite across his various performances within the MCU.
All was not lost, however, as it was later announced that Hiddleston would return for his very own solo series on Disney+. Simply titled Loki, the series saw its titular character cross paths with the Time Variance Authority and introduced the concept of variants, which is set to be a key focus of the MCU's Phase 4 and beyond.
The glow-in-the-dark scepter is largely reminiscent of how it appears on screen, as the mind stone held within it glows whenever it is used to control someone's mind. This is not the first time Hiddleston's much-loved villain has been immortalized in Funko Pop form, especially following the release of Loki, which saw Funko release their own versions of a number of Loki's variants within the show, including Aligator Loki and President Loki.
This exciting new Funko Pop is the perfect addition to any Marvel fan's collection as it perfectly recreates a character silhouette that has become synonymous with the MCU over time. It's interesting to see Funko Pop going back to recreate older iterations of characters, as Loki has previously been depicted in his green and black armor prior to this release, however, this does appear to be the first time the character has been designed with his helmet and scepter to match.
