WandaVision and Loki are coming to physical media.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Over two years after originally premiering on Disney+, WandaVision and Loki season 1 are set to be the first MCU Disney+ streaming series to get a physical home media release. While the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been a staple of the big-screen movie landscape for 15 years and counting, the canon status of its TV shows - both on broadcast television and streaming services - was murky until 2021.
Disney has officially announced that WandaVision and Loki season 1 will both be released on physical home media at staggered points in fall 2023. Loki season 1 will release first on September 26, just in time for new viewers to watch through all 6 episodes before Loki season 2 premiers on October 6. WandaVision, labeled as "The Complete Series," will follow with a release on November 28. Both will be available on Blu-ray and 4k UHD.
Close Previous MCU television shows such as Daredevil and Agents of SHIELD have previously been released on physical home media, but this marks a new direction for the MCU. As of now, no other MCU Disney+ streaming series have been released or confirmed for future release on physical media.
What To Expect From Loki & WandVision's Home Media Release Disney is holding details back for WandaVision's November release, but details have been announced for the Loki season 1 set. In addition to the show's 6 episodes, the following special features will also be included:WandaVision will likely contain a similar suite of features on release. Both series are enclosed in beautiful Steelbook cases showcasing their central characters and a full-art spread interior.
