Corfield Street, Bethnal Green A man has died after he was stabbed during a ‘fight’ on a residential street in east London. Police said they were called to Corfield Street in Bethnal Green around 8.20pm yesterday. They said: ‘Officers attended and found a man with a stab injury. Despite the efforts of officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, the 38-year-old man sadly died at the scene. ‘Police officers are working to inform the man’s family.
‘We shall be supporting our colleagues in the Specialist Crime Command with their investigation, and you can expect to see officers in the area over the coming days. I encourage you to speak with them about anything you saw or heard, as well as any concerns you may have.’ There have been no arrests and enquiries continue. A crime scene remains in place.
