At least two gunmen are being sought after a 12-year-old boy was killed and a 14-year-old girl was injured in a drive-by shooting as they walked in a Long Beach neighborhood late Tuesday.
The 17-year-old boy was standing with a group in the gas station parking lot around 1 a.m. Wednesday when the suspect approached and got into a fight with them, the LAPD said.
There were strike marks on at least one nearby vehicle, Mejia said, and “bullet casings were found throughout the [crime] scene.”
