Loose Women panellist Kaye Adams has opened up about getting 'empty nest syndrome' as she waved her daughter off to university, admitting she's been left in tears
Loose Women 's Kaye Adams has revealed her struggle with "empty nest syndrome", admitting it left her in tears and feeling like it marked the "end of family life". Kaye, 61, is mum to two daughters, Bonnie, 18, and Charley, 22, whom she shares with her long-term partner, tennis coach Ian Campbell. The TV star confessed that she was reduced to tears when she saw her daughter packing her bags for university.
On her How To Be 60 podcast, Kaye admitted: "It's bloody difficult. The worst thing is, she's having a really good time. She couldn't speak to me the other day because she'd been doing karaoke. " "The house is so tidy, I'm actually walking around trying to trash it," she said. "There's nothing for anyone to do, so it's really going to take a bit of getting used to."
