A Los Angeles garment manufacturer has reopened after the county's public health department shut down the factory twice over coronavirus outbreaks.
Los Angeles Apparel has been allowed to reopen after complying with all the requirements from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, the department confirmed in a statement on Tuesday."After working with our department, they are ensuring their employees are trained, physically distanced, wearing face coverings and that their facility is following enhanced cleaning regimens," the LA County Department of Public Health said.
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health will monitor the garment factory to make sure Los Angeles Apparel continues to comply with all health orders."Our inspectors will continue to conduct unannounced visits to ensure that infection control measures are in place," the department said.Shutdowns after violating mandatory health ordersLos Angeles Apparel was first shut down in June after violating the county's mandatory health orders.
