Richard Curtis - the rom-com movie mogul - is understood to have exchanged vows with broadcasting partner and the mother of his four children, Emma Freud, over four weeks ago
A colossal congratulations is in order for legendary movie director Richard Curtis, after he "secretly tied the knot" with long-term girlfriend Emma Freud last month.
Richard was also photographed at the event wearing a gold wedding ring on his finger which, according to guests, he incessantly fiddled with all day. They added that though broadcaster Emma tried repeatedly to change the conversation back to literature, their marriage was the "talk of the festival". Whilst appearing on-stage at the festival, Richard was also plunged into hot water when his daughter, Scarlett quizzed him about the lack of diversity in his rom-coms.
