Zack and Bliss enjoyed connecting through the Netflix pod walls. During the experiment, Zack celebrated his 32nd birthday — and Bliss was keen to help him make the most of his special day. She decked out her man's side of the pod with balloons, confetti and homemade cupcakes with candles. The Washington native had equally strong feelings for both Bliss and Irina, which were heightened by the women’s rivalry over his birthday celebrations. Bliss and Irina later complained about one another to Zack, who felt conflicted about choosing a side.Zack ultimately chose to end his relationship with Bliss in favor of Irina, whom he proposed to in the pods. Irina accepted, proclaiming that she loved him too and couldn’t wait for them to go on adventures together.
Zack and Irina’s pod bond quickly dissipated by the time they met in person and went on a romantic getaway. The boutique owner couldn’t see a spark with Zack and they eventually agreed to call it quits before heading home.After calling off his whirlwind engagement, the Netflix groom was eager to meet Bliss in person, ask for her forgiveness and try dating again. Bliss, who still had feelings for Zack, agreed.
