EXCLUSIVE: Arabella Chi opened up on how Love Island: All Stars changed the public’s opinion of her, being natural on reality TV and why showering is tricky in the villa
Arabella Chi first shot to fame with a stint in the Love Island villa in 2019 - but the 33-year-old model's time was dramatically cut short when she and co-star Tom Walker were dumped from the villa in a savage twist.
"When I first came out the villa I didn't get the best response, but I think I've managed to turn that around," she explained. "But sometimes it all comes part in parcel of what you've signed up for." Here, Arabella lifts the lid on the downsides to fame, the one thing contestants need to ignore in the villa, and how she's coping following a terrifying robbery in November last year...Honestly, I can't believe how much my life has changed since stepping into the villa the first time but I feel like I had a much better experience on round two. I had the full experience this time and, even though I obviously had highs and lows, it's all part of being in the villa.
We do, I think we get around two hours. That's sometimes the best bit, getting ready and having a laugh with the girls. But one downside is the showers. Can you believe we had one shower between everyone? Not one between the boys and one between the girls... everyone. That's why you see people using that tiny shower outdoors. Normally the guys would let the girls go first and if we were washing our hair, we'd need to announce it ahead of time so we had plenty of time.
