Brand new Love Island contestant George Fensom has responded to the controversy which has led to calls for him to be removed from the show just moments into the first episode of the 2023 summer series.
But many online immediately called for George to be axed with some predicting he would 'disappear' in a few episodes due to the backlash.George has previously addressed the row surrounding homophobic posts from his now-deleted Twitter account.Before he went into the villa, ITV had told him that the footage and comments had resurfaced online in the run up to the new series being aired on ITV2 and ITVX.
"Looking back on those tweets, I was really naive and really young to think that was the right thing to say.
