Love Island's Lana's mum issues stern warning to Ron ahead of meet-the-parents episode LoveIsland
Love Island star Lana Jenkins' mum has issued a stern warning to Lana's beau Ron Hall, ahead of meeting him face-to-face in the Love Island villa.
Lana's mum Rachel, 50, a script advisor on Hollyoaks, will be seeing her daughter in the flesh for the first time in eight weeks, whilst she will also get the opportunity to meet Ron, 25. Sparks flew between Ron and Lana at the start of the show, before Lana was left upset numerous times as Ron wanted to keep his options open and explore connections with other girls in the villa.
She said: “I just want to give her a hug, I have been wanting to do it for eight weeks. We have had quite a few crying sessions at home. She always comes out of it a little bit stronger. To progress in life we have to have those moments when we need to cry.” Rachel also jumped to the couple's defence after some viewers of the show slammed them for being "dull", as she said: “If people think being chilled, peaceful and kind is boring, that’s up to them."
