The 22-year-old student is from Newport in South Wales and is studying for his masters in strength and conditioning. Before entering the villa, he said that he thought he was at a good age to meet someone. 'You’ve got your years ahead of you so you have time to experience stuff and grow together,’ he said. ‘I think Love Island is a great opportunity to meet someone, you’re in with a load of different types, so you can get to grips with what you really like about people.
The reaction to Liam's quick departure across social media has been one of shock and sadness. One Twitter user wrote, 'Oh no, this is sad. I was just starting to really like him.' While Another raised concern writing, 'Only four days in? This is Odd! I hope he's okay.' Liam isn't the first islander to walk in the early days of the series.
