LoveIsland star Liam Reardon says ex Millie Court was ‘wife material’ and it ‘might not be the end’
He shocked Love Island fans in July when he announced he and girlfriend Millie Court had split up, a year after they both won the hit reality dating show.
On whether they could get back together in the future, Liam says, “Never say never. Maybe one day in the future, we’ll rekindle.” It’s going back into a dating environment without it being too serious in the real world. I’ve had advice along the way and it’s just been a great experience. I’ve made great friends as well.Yeah, the break-up hurt both of us. Love Island has been a crazy whirlwind. Maybe I’ve gone off track a little bit and wanted to steer myself back on track.
My career, bricklaying, was my life and then I’m not doing that, so it’s very unnatural. I didn’t know who I was. It was nothing to do with Millie, she is the perfect girlfriend. What are you looking for at the agency? Obviously, she’s gorgeous, but we connected as people. I fell in love with who she was and I think that was quite special.I try to be a gentleman. I always like the woman to feel comfortable. If, in the first five minutes, I think, “You’re not for me”, I will still try and have a great time.
But I didn’t come here to find love, I came here to date and feel comfortable in that environment again and that’s what I’ve done.Yeah, but only if I’m feeling it. If I don’t feel it, I won’t flirt. To be honest, I think I did most of my flirting on the show with Tom [Read Wilson]! There’s something about him, you just can’t help but flirt!All the dates were great and lovely girls. Sometimes it’s easy to compare to Millie because we did have something great.
