Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh is tracking lower humidity and below-average temperatures.
Dewpoints early in the morning were in the 40s, compared to mid-60s over the weekend and Monday. Winds are out of north and west, helping to draw in cooler air. We’ll be sunny this afternoon with temperatures in the low to mid-70s. The average high is 80 degrees.Nighttime lows will be in the 40s tonight and only climbing into the mid-70s tomorrow.
We will remain breezy and mostly sunny Thursday with temperatures still below average. It only gets gradually warmer to end the week and for the upcoming weekend with temperatures only in the low 80s. Winds will shift to out of the east by late week, which will keep the beaches feeling cooler, and every so often a light shower may develop. Otherwise it’ll be dry.
