Stealth Appearance can be selected on Lucid’s Touring and Grand Touring / Performance models for an extra $6,000 when paired with a glass canopy roof. Lucid is now also letting customers configure Stealth Appearance for $3,000 on Touring models that have a metal roof. It also includes special satin black wheel options in 21-inch Aero Sport or 20-inch Aero Lite styles.
Jenkins juxtaposes Stealth Appearance with the more common option, Platinum, and calls them the “two facets of the Air personality.” Platinum looks like the opposite of Stealth: it’s shiny and silver and reminds you of older Tesla vehicles that have chrome trimmings. Tesla swapped out that style on all of its vehicles starting in 2020 and changed them to dark matte trims — kind of like this new Stealth Appearance look.
