How will an expensive luxury moisturiser fare against a low-cost Nivea rival? You might be surprised…
You spend more to get more, right? Well not necessarily, it seems. At least when it comes to moisturiser. Reality TV star Bethenny Frankel, took to social media to test a luxury – and very pricey – moisturiser against the super-affordable Nivea Creme.
‘Painfully expensive beauty… very inexpensive beauty. Half my face, let’s go,’ she posted on Instagram. And against it she tried the Nivea Creme , costing just $2 – and it’s even cheaper here at around £1.50 for 50ml. So how did each fare? ‘So I’ve gone and gotten dressed, it’s a while after,’ she said. ‘This is a more hydrated side. The Nivea side.’But feeling the Nivea half of her face she said: ‘It’s not greasy but if you want that sort of rich hydration… The Nivea side is more supple. That’s shocking.”
