Traffic on the M4 motorway at Datchet, near Windsor Traffic is building up on the M4 into west London amid an ongoing ‘incident’ investigated by the Metropolitan Police. A stretch of the motorway is blocked eastbound at Junction 3 Heston and vehicles are now being diverted via exit and entry slips. The major commuter route into the capital was shut at 6.10am and is expected to remain closed until at least 9am.

Divert off and on. 30 min delay.’ An update from the authority later said that the wait time has now increased to 45 minutes. It said: ’45 minute delay and three miles of very slow traffic from J4b M25 to J3.
