All the closures and delays that could affect your journeys
Parts of the M6, M65 and A56 will close over the coming week with Lancashire motorists being urged to plan ahead.

Work began on Monday January 16 2023, and completed by the end of June 2023.
Works will commence on Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8pm and 5am . During these works, overnight lane closures will be in place for safety. Additionally, six overnight carriageway closures are required on the M6 northbound and southbound between junctions 27 and 28- only one carriageway closed at a time to reduce disruption on road users.
M65 between junctions 7 and 10 Essential work between junction 7 and 10 of the M65 involves replacing parts of the safety barrier in the central reservation, as the structure has reached its end of serviceable life. The scheme will ensure the safety of drivers over the long term by reducing the risk of vehicle crossover.Temporary steel lane barriers will be in place and a 50mph speed limit throughout the scheme. Work will be carried out overnight when traffic levels are lowest.
