BART trains running to and from San Francisco Airport experienced major delays Wednesday after a tree branch fell down on one of the tracks, BART officials said.
Trains initially were stopped between the 24th St. Mission and Daly City stations in the SFO, Millbrae and Daly City directions, the agency said. BART used social media to announce the closure around 10:50 a.m. By 1 p.m., trains were running normally but major delays still were happening, BART spokesman Chris Filippi said. BART initially opened the tracks with a single track open.
