A major supermarket has confirmed it will be slashing the price of bags of Christmas vegetables to just 15p.
The items that will be available for 15p include British parsnips , British carrots , British brussel sprouts , echalion shallots , British swede and white potatoes .Making the announcement, Lidl said: "Lidl prices are always market leading, even when others reduce theirs. But Lidl works on long-term agreements with producers and growers, ensuring that promotional prices do not affect the price paid to the farmer.
