🔴 A man has died at the construction site for Everton FC’s new stadium on Bramley Moore Dock, Liverpool
The 26-year-old, who has not yet been publicly identified, died on Monday afternoon after sustaining head injuries in an incident involving heavy machinery.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: “We can confirm that a man has died following an incident at Bramley Moore Dock this afternoon, Monday 14 August. “We are shocked and saddened by today’s tragic incident and our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased man and our wider project team.
Construction work has been ongoing for two years on the stadium, which will eventually seat more than 50,000 fans at the centre of Liverpool’s historic waterfront.
