About 10:15 a.m. Monday, officers were called to the 1700 block of Brookhaven Drive, near South Zang Boulevard and West Illinois Avenue, after getting reports that a body was in a creek. Police said the victim had multiple gunshot wounds.has been set up to help her family with funeral expenses.
