A 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with his death of 24-year-old John Cairns at a property in Shotts on the morning of Thursday, May 9.
24-year-old John Cairns was found seriously injured at a property in Shield Gardens at around 8.20am on Thursday, May 9. Emergency services rushed to the incident but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland has confirmed a 39-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with his death. "Around 8.20am on Thursday, 9 May, 2024, officers were called to a report of a man being found seriously injured at a property in Shiel Gardens, Shotts."The 39-year-old is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday, 17 May."
